Exposure Gallery was established in 2009 as an exhibition space dedicated to emerging and established Canadian photo-based artists. Located on the second floor of Thyme and Again in Ottawa, ON, this space functions not only as a sophisticated gallery, but also as a restaurant, a gathering space, and a venue for special events. In 2015, Exposure Gallery partnered with the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa to bring Ottawa's rich photography to a wider audience, educating and enriching the arts and culture in Ottawa while strengthening the community as a whole.
Every year we exhibit five photo-based artists and art collectives. Exposure Gallery emphasizes curatorial freedom, meaning the artist(s) control how the artwork looks on the wall. We are here to support your vision! This year, we have a theme of “DIALOGUES,” so each exhibition will be shared by two artists, participating in a visual conversation.
